This product (7700 maintenance tank)have sponge in it which can absorb the ink(the inkis volatile). 2.The printer will alert user when tank needs to be changed. (replaces C12C890501/C12C890502) 3.When the tankis fullwith waste ink, we suggest you canuse syringe to suck out the ink. If you pour-out the waste ink directly,the maintenace tank is easy to get dirty everywhere.
